Tube tunnel shortens trip from Denmark to Germany.

Recently, Danish plans to use public financing for the Fehmarn Belt tunnel linking Denmark with Germany by road and rail meets European Union (EU) rules and so can go ahead, the European Commission has said.
Approval of Danish funding for the scheme was critical for the project as Denmark will be the sole owner of the infrastructure and bears the full risk for financing the tunnel. Besides, a client has said that construction will take just over eight years to complete and, when finished, it will take 10 minutes to travel from Denmark to Germany by car and seven minutes by train.
With the development of society, the engineering structure is becoming larger and more complex. Super high-rise buildings, extra-large bridges, giant dams, and complex subway systems are constantly emerging to meet people's living needs, and also evolve into a symbol of social strength.
